Who it is for

Construction suppliers

You make a construction product and you sell to developers, main contractors and clients. You know there are projects your product fits exactly, but you hear about them once the specification has closed. Modou reads the public documents where those projects first surface, and tells you why it matters now and who to call.

What you are probably thinking

I already read the trade press.

True, and you should keep doing it. The trade press tells you what happened. A project has been awarded, a company has been bought, an estate is going to be built. That is news, and news reaches everyone at the same time.

Modou does something different. It tells you why this project needs your product now. Not because it is big, but because there is a constraint inside it: the nitrogen headroom has to come from the plan itself, the environmental requirement in the land tender sits below the legal minimum, or the estate cannot get onto the grid yet. That is where your argument is.

And it does not stop at an insight. You get the source, the date and the role to call, with a phone number and LinkedIn where those are publicly findable. So the conversation can happen the same morning.

How it works for you

What you get

A briefing in your inbox every working day. Per opportunity: what happened and which document it is in, why that matters for your product, why it matters now, and who to call about it. No list of names, no scoring table.

Where it comes from

From the documents construction produces itself: notices from municipalities, provinces and water authorities, tenders and specifications, environmental permits and court rulings. Modou reads them every working day and tests what it finds against your product.

How you start

There is nothing for you to set up. During onboarding you tell us what you make, who you sell to and where you work. We set it up. After that it arrives without you having to do anything.

What it is not

Not another database to maintain and not a second CRM. You never have to log in anywhere to do your work. It arrives in your email, and when you respond to an opportunity, that steers where Modou searches the next day.

What happened

The administrative court upholds a zoning plan for roughly 1,000 homes in the province of Zuid-Holland. The appeal against its nitrogen assessment was rejected.

Why this matters to you

The plan balances its nitrogen headroom inside the project itself. Low-emission construction products and build methods are no longer a preference, they are the reasoning the permit rests on.

Why now

Since the ruling the plan is final. Building can start, which means the choices about materials and build method are being made right now.
