Each one comes with the decision maker to contact and why it matters right now.

How is this different from Zapier or Make?

Zapier and Make run workflows you already know about: you pick the trigger, you pick the action. Modou is different. It goes looking for opportunities you did not know were there, like a new tender, a funding call, or a company that just started hiring for something you sell, and it brings them to you without you setting up a single workflow.

Timing depends on the source and how often it can be checked. When Modou detects something new, such as a tender or a relevant company change, it can surface it through your chosen channel. You can also ask it to take a fresh look from your dashboard.

What happens after Modou finds an opportunity?

It preps your first move. Modou tells you who to contact and why, and drafts a first email you can send or tweak. Low-risk steps it can handle for you; anything high-risk waits in a queue for your approval before anything goes out. You are always the one who decides what actually happens.

Can I control what Modou does?

Yes. You decide how much Modou does on its own and what needs your sign-off first. High-risk actions always wait for your approval, and on the Team plan you can set approval steps for the whole team. You are never locked out of your own decisions or your own data.

How does Modou learn what a good opportunity is for us?

From you. Every time you approve, edit, or pass on something Modou brings you, it takes note. Approve a certain kind of tender and it looks for more like it; wave off a type of lead and it stops surfacing those. Over time your approvals and corrections turn into rules, so Modou acts more like you would and the opportunities it brings get sharper.

Can I see exactly what Modou has done?

Yes. Your activity feed shows everything Modou does as it happens, and a full, searchable log keeps the details: what it did, why, when, and how sure it was. Nothing happens out of sight.

What if Modou gets something wrong?

You have a safety net. High-risk actions wait for your approval before they go out, so a wrong call gets caught before it lands. Everything Modou does keeps a before and after record in your log, and for most tools you can undo a change right from the activity feed. When Modou is not confident, it flags the item for you to check instead of acting on its own.

What pricing plans are available?

Five tiers. Discover is €25 one time for 300 lifetime credits. Professional is €49/month for one seat and 500 credits. Team is €199/month for up to 5 seats and 3,000 shared credits, with extra seats available. Scale is €399/month for up to 10 seats and 7,500 shared credits, with extra seats available. Enterprise is tailored to larger teams.

How do credits work?

With Professional, Team or Scale, the weekday opportunity search is included in your plan: it runs every weekday, it never stops because you ran out of credits, and every opportunity that clears your quality bar counts toward your plan's daily minimum. Qualified opportunities themselves are free on these plans. Your monthly credits cover the heavier actions on top: a new Pursue run uses one credit and each successfully sent opportunity email uses one credit. Your first scan during onboarding is free, and so are duplicates, rejected results, retries, drafts, approvals and failed emails. If you run low on credits, chat and other actions pause until your next month, but your daily opportunities keep coming.

What's included in Discover?

Discover is a one-time €25 purchase. You get 300 credits that never expire, all from one shared pool for opportunity work and chat. Top up whenever you want more. When you would rather have a fresh monthly credit allowance, move up to Professional, which includes 500 credits a month.

Can I upgrade or downgrade at any time?

Yes. You can switch plans whenever you like. Upgrades take effect right away and you pay only the difference. Downgrades start at your next billing period. No contracts, no lock in, and you can cancel from your dashboard settings in one click.

Which tools does Modou connect to?

Modou connects to more than 100 tools through Composio, including HubSpot, Salesforce, Pipedrive, Notion, Slack, Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Gmail, Outlook, Airtable, and Monday.com, so it can reach your CRM, email, calendar, docs, and chat. The list keeps growing. Ask for a connector from your dashboard and we prioritise by demand.

What happens when I connect a tool for the first time?

Modou gets to work straight away. It looks over what is already in the tool and starts surfacing opportunities, usually within a few minutes for a normal sized account. After that it keeps watching that tool and the market around it, so new openings show up as they appear.

Do I need a developer to set this up?

Accepted Answer

No. Modou is built for business teams, not engineers. You connect a tool, answer a few setup questions and describe what you want to find. Setup time depends on the provider and the permissions your organisation requires.

How does this work across a team?

Accepted Answer

Everyone shares one feed of opportunities, so the whole team sees what Modou finds in one place. Each person can set their own rules for what matters to them, and approvals can run per person or across the team, so nothing important goes out without the right sign-off. As people approve and correct things, Modou learns what a good opportunity looks like for your team as a whole.

How long before I see value?

The timing depends on the connected tools, available data and what you ask Modou to find. The first results should be reviewed as evidence based leads, not guaranteed opportunities.

Is my business data safe?

Accepted Answer

Yes. You connect through OAuth, so we never store your passwords. Your data is encrypted while it moves and while it sits at rest. Modou reads and writes only through each tool's official connection, and only within the permissions you grant. You can disconnect any tool and pull back all access whenever you want.

Where is data stored, and is Modou GDPR compliant?

Modou is registered in the Netherlands and works under EU law. Data processing follows the GDPR, and the infrastructure runs on servers in the EU region. A Data Processing Agreement (DPA) is available on request for Enterprise customers.

Do you use my data to train AI models?

Accepted Answer

No. Modou runs on Google Cloud's Vertex AI, the business version of Google's AI. Under its business terms, Google is contractually barred from using your data to train its models. That is the difference between the paid business tier, which we use, and the free consumer tier, which we do not.

Who can see my personal information inside Modou?

Accepted Answer

Almost nobody, and even then it is hidden. When Modou records what it did, it automatically masks personal details like email addresses, phone numbers, bank account numbers, and card numbers in its activity log. So even a Modou team member looking at those records sees a masked placeholder, not the real address or account number.

Can I have all my data deleted?

Yes. This is your right to be forgotten under the GDPR. When you delete your account, all of your data is permanently and automatically removed across our systems. You can also disconnect any tool at any time to stop Modou reading from it.
